Long as I Can See the Light
Creedence Clearwater Revival recorded this John Fogerty song in 1970 and it still strikes a chord with the youth of today. We are heading out to make our mark in the world, but home will always beckon our hearts. Just leave a candle in the window for us… Performed in the key of F.

We were very lucky to get Greg Sardinha to guest on the album. We were all pleasantly surprised when John Cruz stopped by, and we asked him there on the spot if he could just jump in and join us. We also couldn't have done this without the "Pu`uhale Party Peeps". Thank you to everyone...

The ocean sounds you hear at the end of this track were recorded during the sunset at Polihale Beach on the island of Kaua`i.

Put a candle in the window, 'cause I feel I've got to move.
Though I'm going, going, I'll be coming home soon,
'long as I can see the light.

Pack my bag and let's get movin',
'cause I'm bound to drift a while.
When I'm gone, gone,
you don't have to worry long,
'long as I can see the light.

Guess I've got that old trav'lin' bone,
'cause this feelin' won't leave me alone.
But I won't, won't be losin' my way, no, no
'long as I can see the light.

Put a candle in the window, 'cause I feel I've got to move.
Though I'm going, going, I'll be coming home soon,
Long as I can see the light.
Long as I can see the light
