'Kaulupono' includes 14 tracks, 5 of which are mele hou by young haku mele. Like previous albums, it's an eclectic cd, mostly Traditional Hawaiian, but features other genres of music like hapa haole, contemporary Hawaiian, and English. An `ukulele instrumental is also included.
Guest artists include: Nina Keali`iwahamana, Keali`i Reichel, Makana, Aaron Sala, Greg Sardinha, John Cruz , & Kata Maduli.
Opening the CD, you will hear the sounds captured during the sunrise at Cape Kumukahi, along with an `oli, written and performed by Chad Takatsugi. Finishing off the CD you hear the sounds of the sunset, captured at Polihale Beach on the island of Kauai.
'Kaulupono' will be out in stores October 5th, 2004.
